2024 Troy Ritchie Memorial Spring Driving School

The RDSCC organizes several different types and levels of performance driving schools for members and guests.

Usually held before the start of our autocross season, these schools are excellent events to learn about your car and develop your driving skills.

2024 Troy Ritchie Memorial Spring Driving School - This year's spring school will be held on May 10-11th. We will be hosting a 'Chalk Talk' on May 10th from 6:30-9:30pm at TBD in Red Deer. This will kick off the driving school and provide all the initial information required for the school. The school will continue on the track on May 11th at 8:00am in the SW parking lot of the Westerner.

The instructors will be taking you through an autocross day, teaching you about setup, tech inspections, course map & walks, the events and timing/vehicle classes. This will progress into you and your car, some key driving points, learning the line and on track training. From beginners to advanced, everyone will be able to take some real learnings from this course to improve their fun on the track. Sign up now to secure your spot.

The Spring Driving School has limited spots available and is open to everyone.

This year the school entry fee includes a 2024 membership. $150 for the driving school with an individual membership or $190 for the driving school with a family membership. If more than one person in a family membership is entering into the driving school each additional entry will be $100. 

We are only taking 20 students for this course. If you would like to secure your spot now in the Driving School, sign up right away as there has already been a lot of interest in the school. We hope you come out to the school and then use your newly learned skills on the track throughout the summer as well.
